No, None of it, I tell ya, Nunavit! I did a lesson on the Narwhal today and my students recounted, "Only 80,000? Why does the article say 'Only'? 80,000 seems like quite a few." They were hunted almost to extinction for their Unicorn-horns tusks (the horn is actually a tooth that grows through their upper lip.)



This topic also gave me a chance about the Nunavit people. The Northwest Territory was split into the new Nunavit Territory about a decade ago but I was in Japan at that time and didn't even know of the switch. Let's catch up on our Inuit history by watching some of their NFB movies! I still remember the Tuktu tales.
