Respect For The Really Aged!

Today is 敬老の日 (Keirou no Hi) or Respect For The Aged Day and to celebrate that I've sat at home doing nothing all day long. By not meeting anyone, I have no way of disrespecting them! Actually they've been running Old Western's on the tube all day and I've lazily viewed them just to show I have True Grit!

I have always had tremendous respect for some really aged individuals. Our Prehistoric friends. I planned to grace you with several cool pics from this book on 恐竜 (kyouryuu = Dinosaurs) plus some from my collection. Alas my scanner broke down halfway through, so I'll have to continue it another day.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T!

Today is a National Holiday called 敬老の日, (Keirō no Hi or Respect for the Aged.) I'm older than most of my friends, but do you think that entitles me to any respect? (I don't think so...they made me buy the beer after the SNOTS won their hockey tournament last night!) Yet, sure I may be old but I'm not as old as these really old people!

So as a tip of the hat to ALL the old folks out there, here's a little Respect for you!
