Normally this spot is reserved for Godzilla goodies, thus GOvember. Today is the 59th Anniversary of Gamera, so I'll give him his spot in the limelight, thus GAvember. Here is a fairly recent UFO Catcher score featuring regular and Fire-Gamera ,(which isn't actually a thing. Clear colour version.)
The box is pretty cool though the figure itself is about a third of its size.
I dunno. On the box, I feel Fire-Gamera looks more intimidating, though the regular Gamera is more so as a figure. What do you think?
I also managed to collect all five of the mini-tote bags folded up inside a Gatcha capsule.
Hey, I don't remember a Gamera movie titled Rebirth. Holy Heck! I had forgotten all about the Anime revival, Gamera Rebirth. Dang, I'll have to track this down! Oh, it's on Netflix...
Apart from having Gamera on in the background, I didn't really view any of the movies. Instead I watched Gene Rodenberry's Genesis II, a TV pilot from the 70s. It's not great but Mariette Hartley is! A ton of cast extras from Star Trek show up in this.
Back to GOvember tomorrow.
