Koen-heads.

As a follow up to yesterday's post, here is a continuation of the Kizuna Festival held at Nishi Koen. Starting with some dudes and dames carrying a giant sandal.

I got to meet Miss Peach!

Joe and I ate some gyoza only to discover later that the gyoza at the other end of the park is supposedly tastier.

The raising of some lanterns.

These lanterns are balanced on really long bamboo poles. It must be tough to carry.

I really like this float. Unfortunately we didn't get to see it on the move.

Finally these funky dressed dancers were getting ready to perform but rumour had it that the performance would be cancelled due to overcrowding. So we didn't stick around.

It was a fun day and my only regret is not going on Sunday. It was supposed to have been even better!
