Unico! (Not Uniqlo!)

While perusing the Gatcha machines, I noticed that Unico is back. (I'm not paying 500 yen for one though.)

This incredibly adorable character is courtesy of Osamu Tezuko and Unico has a rich history in the Greek myths. (Check out YouTube if you want to see this in English.)

Another Unicorn can be found in the Rankin/Bass production of The Last Unicorn which I recall watching recently.

A fun movie from last year starring Wednesday Jenna Ortega is Death of a Unicorn.

Not a Unicorn but something I picked up the other day (ie. caught at UFO Catcher), is this Moanasaurus, a type of Mosasaur from the Cretaceous.

Today's feature from my book of monsters is also a Unicorn.

And some history, including narwhals, UK symbols and Noah's passenger list.

It's been a long while since I shared a Debs And Errol tune, here is one about Narwhals.

I have their cd around someplace.

Check out Spooky Moon for some cool crafts and tributes to dead celebrities.

That's it for me, I'm exhausted from playing volleyball today. Details about that tomorrow.
