Fashionable Cat Frolics.

Long before T. S. Eliot and Andrew Lloyd Webber told their tails tales of cats, Kuniyoshi loved his felines and did a whole series of depicting them as Aristocats (not Disney's version). You can see several of in the Kuniyoshi Project. Below is one of the paintings depicting two Kabuki actors in love.

At the link, there are several more paintings, this is one of my favourites.

Unrelated, I noticed at the bookstore, there were many Halloween books on display, yet most notably was an influx of Minions!

This one in particular caught my eye.

I went on a shopping trip and discovered a set of Minion Monsters. Now if they look familiar from last year, that's because dopey me didn't realize that it was the same set and dropped a ton of coins getting them all.

Today's Loot Fright is a metal mug that Ripley drank from.

Check some bowels vowels out at AEIOU who has a feature on the Headless Horseman.

Here's another of those yummy chocolates, this one with a cat on it. (See how it all ties together?)

Back for other hijinx tomorrow.
