Destroyed, Yaaah!

 Day 16 of GOvember.

Tonight I watched ゴジラVSデストロイア (Godzilla vs. Destoroyah) and as usual, got a tad verklempt near the end. It gets a bit complicated, Godzilla fights these mutated Oxygen Destroyer Precambrian life forms yet at the same time he's going all China Syndrome and will blow up. Here he is in his "Fire Godzilla" form.

The creatures are creepy crawlers at first with a protruding mouthpiece, Alien-style, useful for sucking up life force.

They mutate further and now can fly.

A whole bunch of these dudes can merge into a much larger version (below) who gives our overheating Godzilla a run for his yen.

Meanwhile Little Godzilla has grown up to be renamed Junior. (I don't have a Junior handy, only a Little.)

Junior battles the giant Destoroyah valiantly though fails and is picked up, dropped onto Ariake Coliseum and then blasted with a Micro-Oxygen beam, incapacitating and nearly killing him.

Godzilla is heating up badly but before he succumbs breathes a bit of his life force into Junior. (Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw. The torch; be yours to hold it high.) I scammed this from In Flanders Fields which I just happened to do a lesson on this morning.

Then the Japanese Defense team blast Destoroyah with a freezing ray, Godzilla melts (literally) and dies, releasing his radiation and destroying Tokyo. Game over.
Fortunately Junior revives, absorbs all his dad's radiation, saves the day and walks into the ocean.

Whew!

By coincidence, I dropped a few coins trying to win a Fire Godzilla at UFO Catcher today.

I also dropped a few more coins attempting to win this. Maybe next time...
