Don't Miss One Missed Call.

I got wrangled into watching a marathon of Japanese Horror today and all seemed to have a media basis to them. Starting off with Juon: the Grudge which is a lot of fun and may be the first time I've seen it with subtitles. I saw it in Japanese only about two decades ago and it gave me a nightmare, something that rarely happens to me. Next up was Kansen or Infection it's about an infection in a hospital. I'd never seen it and glad I did though I doubt whether I need to see it again. I've had enough of hospitals for a while.

I had laundry to do otherwise I wouldn't have a costume ready for tomorrow's party with a bunch of Cram School kiddies. So I didn't pay much attention to Hiruko the Goblin. Pretty good from what I saw of it. 

Guzoo: The Thing Forsaken by God was just weird. A tentacled creature attacks a quartet of babes who go on vacation at a guest house and get more than they bargained for. It says it is Part 1 but I'm unsure of where to find Part 2.

After the first segment of Unholy Women, I went and prepared lunch so I'm not entirely certain what went on in the other two segments.

I really liked 怪奇! 鬼胎纏身 Lizard Baby despite its atrocious special effects. Alas, I can't find a suitable preview of it, so just click that link for a description.

I didn't bother with ピノキオ√964 or 964 Pinocchio if you're desperate for a cyberpunk porn, Google it yourself. That's when I went to the laundromat.

I got back in time to watch most of Noroi: the Curse and it was about a Demon and a curse. I liked it.

The young actress in Ghost Actress or Don't Look Up was excellent yet the movie itself was a tad dull. You can watch it in its entirety here though it helps if you can read Korean. Apparently there's a pretty good remake out there.

One Missed Call was a lot of fun, especially if you're a fan of Takashi Miike. I'm a little confused by the ending though.

The next half of the marathon will have to wait until after I've slept and gone to a party. 

I had lots of time to rummage through my T-Shirts and managed to dig up some choice horror entries. I think you can figure out what movies they are from.

I don't really know what this is from. I think it's from Cartoon Network Adult Swim. It is cool though.

You need to know your Poe to figure out this one...
