A Man of Culture.

I spent Culture Day today lounging around the apartment and enjoying the 70th Anniversary showing of Gojira (the version without Raymond Burr.) Mainly because this is the day that North America celebrates the anniversary.

Sure I've seen it before, but rarely with subtitles. 

Then I watched the 40th Anniversary of Godzilla 1984, also the version without Raymond Burr.

Then I watched Shin-Godzilla, mainly because it was offered on my Twitch channel with the above two.

The above photos were taken from this book which I got on sale last Saturday and which I'll be delving into from time to time.

I just happen to have my Shin-kun hand-puppets available, so here they are embracing.

 

I'm going to show some videos starring Shin-Kun that happens to be one of my most viewed. Never hurts to get a few more views in. Drinking from a geyser.

I also have a Shin-Godzilla figure handy, so I hung him up for a photo op.

I drank 2/3 of this bottle of Gojira-sour last night and they warn that it's spicy. It was but highly diluted it gets better. I'm polishing off the last third as I write this.

I drank it out of my '54 tumbler.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my annual stupid joke about Culture Day. I ate some yogurt for its culture.
