Make a Jack o' Lemon. It's not easy carving a lemon.
I'm not sure why YouTube doesn't give you an embed option. Try clicking this.
I tried my hand at making another Sweet Potato lantern, but I bollixed it so I made fries instead.
My Alien avocado sort of worked.
It hatched!
I just happened to have a Bermuda Onion, so I gave it a carving.
And another unembeddible video. (With added sizzling of the onion guts being fried.
I took these to school today, one of the students drew a face upon it.
A few of the students did indeed do their homework and wrote a ditty for me.
I really like the Yokai she used in the first one, and I'd never heard of the South Korean trample. I've been there during a festival, and they aren't big on crowd control. The one below is her grandkid in New York.

I picked up these finger-rings (that doesn't sound right) and when I scanned the code, I was able to access a photo frame.
I couldn't figure out how to save it, so screen grabbed this:
Cute!
No tv or movies today, I took a long afternoon nap instead. Here's another comic book though:
I bought this at an antique shop in Sendai a few years back. Sure it's water damaged, but it's nice to have a copy again. (I sold mine decades ago and got a pittance for it.)
I also had this one... Sigh, if only I'd hung onto it.We all had a good time in my lesson today and these Oni sure know how to party! (Not sure what Hump removal is.)
That's it for now, tomorrow is a Sports Day event and I shall be playing volleyball against 20-year olds. I should get a bit of sleep beforehand.
I'll leave you with a fellow member of the Countdowners, this Lady is Lady M and she has lots of cool pics to share.

Love the Jack O'Lemon! I wonder how it smells.....
Would Jack O' Lemon hang out with Walter Matt-Howl, the grumpy old werewolf?
Jack o' Lemon smells lemony and he would hate vacuuming after Matt-Howl sheds.
Resourceful! I love it.
