No, not a stuttering poufter, rather it's the manga creation of 水木しげる(Mizuki Shigeru) and Alex and I are big fans. It looks like they're planning a live action version of his characters (see Hollywood isn't the only one who rips off its animation). If it's as well done as "The Great Yokai War", "Devilman" or "Cutie Honey", we could be in for a treat.
Unfortunately, I'm not thrilled by the actor they've chosen for the lead. He's a little too pretty for my taste, but the supporting cast looks good.
