Is it just me, or does the Commander who says, "そだ、ヤマトだ。" (So da, Yamato da) look like a Thunderbirds-esque Supermarionation character? Btw, for some history on Yamato, try this old post.
I've been waiting to see the recent animated version, but haven't been able to yet. This should whet your appetite:I've posted this before, but here is a Lego version of Yamato being constructed!
