Police in Nagoya, Japan arrested a man who is suspected of stealing 5,000 pairs of young boys and girls shoes for the purpose of sniffing them. He allegedly nabbed them from closets at homes and schools and then stored them in a warehouse.
From Mainichi Daily News:
Fetishism: "I was enjoying their smell," Masashi Kamata, 28, a resident of Nagoya, was quoted as telling investigators. "Indoor shoes for school sexually stimulate me. I couldn't throw away the shoes I obtained."
