Booska Shots.

I finally managed to get up early and have been doing a little tidying. One item I came across are these characters that I'd picked up at a buck a pop. (And I need the boxes for a Relay game at next Sunday's Work Christmas Party.)

ブースカ (Booska) is this bizarre predecessor of Teletubbies, and I just scammed this from Wiki:
Booska is the name of a cute, friendly human-sized kaiju (monster) that looks like a cross between a bucktoothed teddy bear and a giraffe. It was originally an iguana until its owner fed it experimental food, a similar concept to the cartoon Ned's Newt. Created by Eiji Tsuburaya, Booska made his debut in the popular 1966 children's TV series, Monster Booska, produced by Tsuburaya Productions (which had just created Ultraman months earlier.) The show aired on Nippon TV from November 9, 1966 to September 27, 1967, with a total of 47 episodes. I've seen the show occasionally at midnight and it is warped!

As you can see, some of the episodes must have been in black and white!

Sorry I have no idea who this is but he comes with his own TV.

I think this is the special Secret one!

Here is Booska making dinner, Enjoy!
