I hopped on the Shinkansen and instead of going all the way to Tokyo, I got off the stop before at 大宮 (Oomiya), the home of the Ardija Soccer team. A great little ex-town, now a thriving metropolis, that is the hub of transportation within 埼玉県, Saitama.
Upon arrival, I learned of 大宮公園 (Omiya Park) and decided to go walkabout. Rather than make dopey comments on each of the photos, I'll let them speak their own 1000 words.
Blogger is only letting me sloooowly download one or two at a time and I'm quite sleepy, so I'll have to continue this little travelogue tomorrow when we will learn about the Hikawa Shrine.
