One of my first Japanese girlfriends is getting married tomorrow! I haven't heard from her since she celebrated her engagement by joining me in a final fling last Summer. I'd wondered what she'd been up to since then. Now I know.
In other congratulatory news, at my last trip to the clinic to refill my asthma meds, I weighed in at 2.2 kilograms lighter than I was about 6 weeks prior. Not a great achievement, but it was due to a fairly strict self-imposed diet. If I started exercising as well, who knows how much weight I could drop. But I can't lose too much more until after Christmas. Who wants a skinny Santa, and I have at least 4 gigs as St. Nick coming up!
