This site showcases an incredibly cool artist (Fujiko Isomura) from Tokyo who has now set up shop in California. She does a very fascinating melding of the classical Japanese style with a post-modern style mixing the old with the new. Check out this link, Isomura and click around. You won't be disappointed.
