After a nasty 7-1 loss the other day to the Hurricanes, the Leafs decided to go their opponents one better by trouncing the Islanders 8-1. More importantly, Mats Sundin scored his 390th goal for his 917th point to break ties with Darryl Sittler for club records in both categories. In an over-the-top tribute, Mats earned all three Stars for the game. To see some highlights of the game, check out the NHL home page. Hmmm, provided Mats doesn't decide to jump ship now that he's beat these records, maybe the Leafs will have a chance at the cup after all.
