Do You Believe In Majik?

Tonight Rob and I, accompanied by the magnificent Mai, attended the 10th Anniversary of Monkey Majik, live in concert at Zepp! Last time I saw them was about 3 years ago (meh) and I can say in all sincerity that tonight they truly rocked the joint! Of course 10 minutes into it, there was another earthquake, but that only added to the mood of the shindig. I thought that they were in great voice (even Maynard with a cold) and their new tunes were augmented by the old standards. They obviously were more stoked than usual in front of a Sendai crowd and I suspect that they altered the gig to reflect that.

Rob and I also got the crowd roused up for an Encore yelling out "Monkey Majik (clap, clap, clapclapclap)" and a good portion of fans joined in. We also gave Blaise a shoutout for his forthcoming (milestone) birthday and cheered on their home-team Ottawa Senators as well.
