Stupid Scanner!
I blew a fuse again (microwave, tv, space heater + computer = breaker break) and upon returning to electric bliss, everything seemed to be normal. But now that I want to scan something, my scanner icon has disappeared! I wish I weren't so dumb and then I could figure out how to get it back!
