As I'm sure most of you know, whaling is back in the news with Japan's desire to do more scientific testing on whales and then feed the remains to the public. I personally can go either way on the debate. If whales' intelligence is the reason why we shouldn't be killing them, then why are we allowed to kill the highly intelligent pigs? There's about a million Minke out there now, so culling a few shouldn't damage future generations too much, but I draw the line at the more endangered Humpback. So really, there's not much to add to this than to just joke about it and offer a few photos and let you decide for yourself what should be done. I had some of the above product a few years ago and it tasted okay but nothing to blog home about.
