As I'm sure you all know by now, Germany put the Portuguese in their place with a message of "Cheaters never prosper." Ronaldo reportedly played well and maybe he should have dived more often and they might have won. But to me the sport was at its lowest point here where Ronnie managed to get Rooney expelled. And that wink says it all...

I hope the final match between Pepe LePeu and The Sopranos is fair and just, so a little dignity is brought back to the game. I've never been a big fan of "footie" but if the lack of sportsmanship exhibited lately is anything to go by, I doubt if I'll watch it in the future.
