The Japanese style of art known as 浮世絵 or ukiyo-e, literally "pictures of the floating world" has been well documented in the above two links, so I don't need to. Who knew that G. ルーカス would have embraced it when he opted for the National MacLord C-Movie MC15 for his movie-making magic?
