Still playing catch-up from a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd enlighten you about the Saitama Museum of History & Folklore where oddly enough I espied several interesting pieces of history and folklore. I especially like the last one, a dragon made out of straw!
I won't offer up any other commentary and just let the pictures speak their 1000 words themselves.
I also came across a few intriguing sites during my walkabout, including a mud hut outside the museum, some 弓道 (kyudo) archers practicing the "way of the bow" and a fat guy's statue advertising his supermarket.
