When I was in Omiya visiting the Manga museum, I ran across a funky little shop that sold all kinds of traditional paraphernalia including a couple of homemade dolls at only 500 yen a pop. So I picked up two of the coolest and brought them home waiting for this particular date.
Today just happens to be 雛祭り or Hina Matsuri, the Doll Festival, thus it's time to show them off. (Sorry, they didn't scan well and I'm too lazy to break out my camera.)
