Zombie Legend.

ゾンビ伝説 (zonbi densetsu = Zombie Legend) is a book by anthropologist, Wade Davis, the title in English is: The Serpent and the Rainbow A Harvard Scientist's Astonishing Journey into the Secret Societies of Haitian Voodoo, Zombies, and Magic.

That's quite the mouthful so for the movie it was shortened to The Serpent and the Rainbow. Here is the cover of the movie pamphlet and as you can see they keep the Zonbi Legend title intact.

Here's a trailer with Japanese subtitles:

Most of the pictures are in gloriously creepy black and white.

Though we do have a few in colour.

Since we lost Wes Craven a little over a year ago, it'd be nice to have him resurrected but I don't think he'd be quite the same. If you're brave enough to reanimate someone, here's a guideline using Zombie Powder.

I have a recent UFO Caught Kitty-chan to go with today's zombie theme. And a big-size version bought a few years back.

(Sheesh Kitty! Go eat a mouse or something. You look positively skeletal.)

This is some Zombie-Maker Gum. I haven't tried it yet. I'm a little frightened to do so!

Sadly since we lost Tom Petty today, here's his Zombie Zoo!

More tomorrow as the Countdown to Halloween continues!
