Captain America- shot & killed!
Continuing on your Global Approval theme a few blogs back- this should knock the U.S. up to the top.
Y'know how our Yank neighbours love to spread the self-sympathising cheesey hero-worship on when tradgedy occurs.
Just look at Bush's post 9/11 80% approval rating (wanker then, wanker now)
Plucky Superman Chris Reeves (sorry, but he was an actor that fell-off a horse).
or even that fat, no-talent blonde bimbo that seems to have been CNN's bread & butter the last 3 weeks. I found the judge breaking down and crying in court the funniest part- JUDGE: That poor woman had been at the center of this media circus all her life- I've only had it a week and I'm a wreck!"
Sorry, but wasn't she a single-mom fry cook in Texas until she decided to flee to L.A. and take her clothes off for money?

HOMER: That Timmy is a real hero.
LISA: Why dad? All he did was fall down a well.
HOMER: Well it's more than you've done!

I can disagree with none of the above, but what does it have to do with St Patrick's Day? Unless Marvel plans on killing off Chef, Beaker and Animal in a Muppet Babies issue.
