Bad Press for the Penguins!

Penguins have been steaming up the screen with the Academy Award winning Happy Feet ("So it follows. Descent leads to division and division leads us to doom! You, Mumble Happyfeet, must go!") and March of the Penguins ("...people have been harassing me for days over March of the Penguins ... about what, I'm not sure. I think to see if I would say on air that penguins are God's instruments to pull America back from the hell-fire, or something like that. As politely as I could I told her, 'Lady, they're just birds.'") and the upcoming Surf's Up, so finally they get some bad press here.

The Pittsburg Penguins lost 4-2 to the Ottawa Senators today which doesn't help their future woes. The Penguins' lease in the Mellon Arena expires at the end of June, 2007 and talk of their departure from the Pitts is rampant. (Fortunately, the Toronto Maple Leafs surged back into 8th place in the Eastern division after their 3-0 trouncing of the Washington Capitals. Woo hoo!)

And Pingu has taken Japan by storm with tons of Pingu-related items being introduced daily! Even more hideous though is the "PINGU RAP" done by David Hasselhoff in Pingu's native Switzerland!
